I'm sitting here, while lowly humming.
Outside my window, raindrops drumming.
Waiting for a sleep not coming.
Thinking thoughts of empty numbing.
Restless fingers; guitar strumming.
Accompanied by the noisy plumbing.
'Til something breaks my inner dumbing.
An urge to write; my thoughts forthcoming,
An article for my second coming!
A premise, argument and a summing.
A conclusion reached most unbecoming.
That damned admin could use a thumbing.
