About Winter

There was snow on the ground. Everywhere around was white, like the first page of an old book that nobody reads anymore.

Snow is basically salt. They can't stand the reflection, so self destruct initiates. It hates slippers.

Kids get excited when there's snow. They eagerly run out in to the whiteness with puffy cotton coats on. They formulate elaborate snowfort designs. You look out the window and the kids are scattered through the snow, like cookie crumbs on the blank page I mentioned earlier. Energetic, charismatic cookie crumbs. Not dust. They wear coats!

Snow becomes puddles, and even children avoid mud.
