Attempted Photocopy Lesson

Today I tried to photocopy myself. I wanted to have a spare copy around in case the original copy got damaged somehow. After all, the human body is somewhat frail, especially the very brittle fingers and toes. What if I fell down a staircase and broke every bone except my left knee? What if I got eaten by a predatory walnut? People keep extra copies of important documents lying around. Why shouldn't I keep an extra copy of myself?

So I climbed in to the photocopyer, and I promptly crushed it. I sensed some symbolism in this incident--symbolism about machines being incapable of producing souls, bla bla bla. Anyway, I decided I'd draw a picture of myself instead. So if anything bad happens to me, just carry on with the little drawing and pretend it's me. It comes with an eraser so you can erase and change my little cartoon facial expressions. You can also make me age as time goes by. It'll be great, you'll never even miss me, I'm my own photocopyer...copier? I created a miniature version of myself that fits in a suitcase, that can be folded up and put in your back pocket for safekeeping, and is totally under your control.
