"Hey, those were my parents!" yelled the man, spit flying from his ear.
In his right hand he carried the his own height in gold, and with the other he pointed to the spot 4 metres away where his parents sat very much alive looking up at him aprehensively. A large woman, wider than she was tall had crashed from the sky in front of him, utterly ruining a long run of no-claims bonuses.
Unleashing a macheté on his parents (it had gained independant thought somehow) the man turned to adress the elephant in the room, - not a literal elephant mind, more of a mongoose, but like a metaphorical mon-, like the mongoose is the woma-, b-basicly I mean the woman, and that her appearance had convened normal social expectations, its just a phrase.
So, so the elephant in the room was all trunky, and, and, had this like, hey wait .. they weren't even in a room at all, this "...in the room" business is clearly nonsense - they were outside on the surface of Mars. And they didn't exist because there is no life on the surface of Mars! TOMATO SOUP!
So anyway the non-existant man, his two nonexistant, but now mutilated and partially dead parents, and the not-elephant not-mongoose but kinda-mongoose woman were somewhere on not-Mars, enjoying the awkward silence that comes with falling out of the sky. Social etiquette dictated that the woman had a tail, and she did. A mongoose tail.
Setting down the gold nonchalantly the man immediately capsized sideways, sinking into the ground several metres as his right bicep, now the size of an elephant in a room - watch it - weighed him down. Not sure why the elephant being in a room would make it weigh more to be honest, .. the air pressure created by the ceiling wouldn't add more than a nanogram of difference. I think it must be a metaphor thing.
The man yanked himself free from the arm, which immediately grew tentacles and began swimming through the solid ground like a giant squid. In fact it had been a giant squid the whole time. Realising this the presumed-to-be-human characters began feasting on an American flag.
Coming back to life the crowd (in the short space of time I had used to Write this the four had become a faceless mass, all dead from not having a face) came back to life for the second time this sentence. Tomato soup. Joining hands that they didn't have, they began to sing from faces that had never had existed. Eventually a plot point fell from the sky and consumed them.
Back on earth, exactly 6 months later an elephant, in a room, remarked how cool it was that America's finally getting free health care. The crowd cheered their support.
