What happened to the trucks backing up into the brick wall
They had backed up even more after being flat. How is this possible, you ask? Well, first of all, it's not. Second, you must be literal -- LITERAL -- in order to realize that it actually is. What the trucks did involved backing up. As in ascending the wall. The trucks backed higher, and higher, and higher, until they went clean off the brick wall and began to ascend into the sky.
Then the laws of physics magically appeared, and gravity pulled the trucks down. The truck pancakes fell from the sky and slid off the wall onto the road, hurtling forward across it. They went flying right into the watch-watching crowd, and exploded brightly, though it was not seen anywhere else because of the shadow keeping the crowd warm. The hugging shadow rose up into the sky and hurled itself around the sun.
A man was quietly painting a beautiful picture when his house lifted off the ground, unveiled the sun over the crowd, and landed in front of the trucks. One truck's pancake-flat driver came out and said to the man, "Congratulations. I have great cheese for you." So it had a happy ending. Until the chicken reappeared, falling from the sky, and landing on a truck. The truck unflattened, flinging the chicken back up again. The chicken continued to bounce in this manner by landing on each truck. Then it landed on the driver who was speaking to the painter, but landed the wrong way. The driver went from two-dimensional to one-dimensional, and then the chicken squeezed the line of driver with its two wings. The line was reduced to a point, and since it was infinitely small, it vanished...
