Neighbours is also a wonderful Australian/Ukranian soap opera that has been running since 1965, which all visitors to the country should make sure they view. It screens at 6.30pm on Channel 10, every single weeknight.
Neighbours is full of interesting storylines, high quality acting and a very large budget. An example of this large budget was during the recent plane crash, when instead of showing the cast members being rescued, the script writers instead had a group of the leftovers who weren't invited on the plane sit around and listen to radio reports of who was safe. Sadly Serena, Lilijana and David are dead now. Lets hope they all launch singing careers soon, like Delta, Holly and of course Kylie Minogue.
It is extremely frowned upon to watch the show in the UK, where it is considered the work of Satan. The show is basically a bunch of teenage make-out scenes. Famous ex-Neighbours stars include Delta Goodrem, Stalin, Kylie Minogue, and Nelson Mandela.
