Normal Activity is a horror film, often cited by the film's director and advertisers as "The most terrifying movie of all time." The film's notorious teaser trailer showed the audience's reaction to the film--most audience members were shown screaming hysterically, jumping up and down in absolute terror, and vomiting blood.

The film features night-time footage of an authentic couple, who sleep peacefully for a while until they are abruptly awoken by a loud sound--the sound of their alarm clock! This notorious "alarm clock scene" caused fainting incidents in some theaters. The couple then proceeds to brush their teeth in a horrifyingly realistic sequence of tooth brushing (the splattering toothpaste nearly earned the film an NC-17 rating from the United States Motion Picture Association, or whatever the hell that movie rating organization is called.

The film's horrifying depiction of events of extreme normalness in the house reaches a sickening climax when the female lead gets up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.

So that was a pretty wretched excuse for an article, but then again... something about knees.
