Sandwich Demons

Sandwich demons are demons that are sandwiched between light and darkness, good and evil making their alignment morally ambiguous. The first discovery of sandwich demons occurred four times, and again twice, when a coven of them turned up at the Republican Party Convention in 1858. Placated by certain episodes of Jersey Shore, they are otherwise scary, repugnant, jocular, provincial and mildly evil. During Lent they are a particular bother to Catholics trying to concentrate on their rosary bead rituals.
Henry Ford first postulated that sandwich demons were created as golems by renegade rabbis from Philadelphia to plague the Earth while the Elders of Zion protoplasm is mixed in with the cement for the foundations of all Federal buildings.
