Sidewalk Snorkeling is a popular pastime for amateur scuba divers who can't afford to fly to exotic locations to swim. Instead, they put on all their scuba gear and walk out in to a crowded city street. There, they attempt to snorkel in small, oily puddles. This usually involves jumping in to the puddle and waving their arms around, pretending to swim.
