I don't understand the continuity error. <css> .nou a{ color:#000000; } .nou a:hover{ text-decoration: none; } .new a{ color:#cc2200; } .new a:visited{ color:#a55858; } </css>~ File:Pointy.png 03:07, 28 Ditzimber 2010

You're not supposed to...--Teh Chicken Magnate, The Honorable Colonel Sanders 03:32, 28 Ditzimber 2010 (UTC)
Oh, the continuity error was supposed to be "How can you press your face against the glass, if the window was open and paper blew out of it?" It came out not really making sense though. Probably should've given this one a proofread. --THE 04:11, 28 Ditzimber 2010 (UTC)
Actually, that's a comma splice. And since when do you ever proofread things? Although I never can tell what's intentional or should be there, with you, anyhow...
No, the bit that was confusing me was that even if a window is open, what window opens all of the glass? there is usually at least some section that remains in flat place parallel to the wall... thus I do not understand. Am I putting too much thought into this? <css>

I love, comma splices!! I proofread vaguely, usually to fix typos (though sometimes I leave 'em), to reword things, and to delete parts that seem stupid or to detract in some way. It's a vague process that only gets used sometimes. When I wrote the start of the article I pictured a big window with the bottom half slid up, like the windows in houses. When I wrote that he pressed his face on the glass I pictured a closed window, then remembered that the window was supposed to be open, so I just put that in there. Yeah probably overthinking it, it is illogicopedia after all, but then again vague continuity issues regarding windows are serious business. --THE 04:52, 28 Ditzimber 2010 (UTC)
AAAAGH! The horror! *runs away* Although I haven't seen any houses like that, at least not within the last two years... that's about as far as any of my reliable memory goes. At least, I think it does. I... can't remember. o__o Oh, wait, I have... but ones that just plain don't open are more common, at least around here. And ones that slide sideways. And ones that go out on hinges. And... <css>
