Talk:Top Ten Bands

I will murder you if System of a Down is Illogicopedia's official band. If anyone were actually willing to record music, we could have a house band. I'm not willing. I have a 13 year old's voice. It MAY have something to do with the fact that I'm thirteen. Though I laughed my ass off when my friend showed me the lyrics to "Toxicity" with the "seeing life through the eyes of a hupcab" line. --T3 03:37, 15 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)

SOAD is screwed up. Wierdest lyrics ever. —rms talk 03:38, 15 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
I love writing funny songs. I pride myself at being an amazing lyricist. A while back when I wrote rap songs for my friend to put on YouTube (he deleted them) the comments were, "The singing wasn't great and the video was kinda gay but nice lyrics" and I was like, "Yea!! You're gay but I rock!!!" --T3 03:41, 15 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
Sure sure. —rms talk 03:43, 15 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
You wanna bet? I'm not lying. You read my System of a Down song, I'm good. --T3 03:43, 16 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
Pff, that's nothing. I am Quincy Jones. -- Hindleyak  Converse?blogClick here! 09:22, 15 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
I'm quite sure, Dan. —rms talk 04:27, 16 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)

Glancing this after a couple months

You've got this all wrong. #4 should be #1 and #1 should be #2. Muse is the greatest freaking thing that England has given the world since... Ever. --T3 23:14, 31 Aym 2010 (UTC)

♫ You'd all be red indians, doo dar, doo dar ♫ --Ben Blade 12:33, 1 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
You suck at music, muse's music has been getting significantly worse and unimaginative over the past four years. --<css>

And that is your opinion. My opinion is that every thing from Showbiz to The Resistance is amazing. Obviously it's completely different, but great all the same. --T3 16:58, 1 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
If that is my opinion, then a significant number of music magazines and people i know, some of who were avid muse fans agree.--<css>

I saw them live a year ago, I was very disappointed--Ben Blade 20:25, 1 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
I saw them yonks ago before they were shit, and it was mediocre at best--<css>

Thoughts

Perhaps Frank Zappa should be promoted to Illogicopedia's favorite musician. The man was a brilliant and imaginative musician but he was also INSANE. Truly insane. He wrote ludicrous, illogicopedia-ish songs about dental floss farming and all sorts of other ridiculous stuff. He's got my vote for a place on the list! --THE 16:17, 1 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
