Teaching Puppies Card Tricks

"Gosh darnit," he grumbled after the puppy ate yet another card.

The test was on.

"No!," he scolded, "You're supposed to do a false cut! Well you did technically 'cut' the card," he chuckled warmly at his own joke. His job was to teach puppies card tricks. This was his twentieth day at work and things weren't going well.

"Is it possible that it can't be done?" he asked himself, "Is a puppy something you can't teach card tricks?" He immediately dismissed this thought. He was sure that he could do it. But how, he wondered, was it possible to teach "Sleight of Hand" to something with paws?

Jim Jordan was in charge of this project and on this particular day he killed himself because his life "had no meaning". Sure suicide is a bad thing but can you argue with him?
