Dark Ages

The Dark Ages were a part of history that were really bland and boring. It is also the most lame time period of Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, because all you have are some houses and farms. This unimportant time in history supposedly took place between the fall of Rome and the Renaissance, and since people had no showers, salt, or intelligence, most historians act like that time period just didn't exist.

What? People say there was a period of history between the fall of Rome and the Renaissance? Lies. Trust me, I'm a historian

So, why were the Dark Ages so lame? Honestly, we don't know. We tried to get our Cinematic Time Machine to show us what life was like via imported video files from back then, but those people didn't have technology back then.

So instead, we hired an actor to pose as the last living member of the dark ages and tell us what is was like.

“It was pretty dark. Sun must have burned out, or something.”
