Graham Hamrag
Irish doctor and physicist Graham Hamrag was a famous designer, inventor, and creator of many, many things. He is most notable for his enormous boxes, his design of the ceiling mop, and several other objects in which he created, including the Massive Cone Calibrator 2000, one of the most controversial cone-related devices of all time.
His ability to design pointless yet interestingly thought-provoking devices and machine led to glory and fame in his home country, Ireland. His chair made of potatoes was his first invention that hit the market red-hot, whereas some others, including his coats made of human hair, didn't take off as well. In his career, he created/designed 276 separate objects.
Regardless of his genius and breakthrough knowledge and designs, Hamrag was Irish and therefore no one gave a bloody crap about him.
