Some inline CSS code might be able to limit the displayed size of it, and if the code would be put within <includeonly></includeonly> tags, it'd only affect it when included as a template, as it is on the main page. A suggestion

A suggestion for adding a create article feature: (since it was tried but removed, I assume because of poor results) make a page for it at Main_Page/Create, Illogicopedia/Create or something like that, then add a "Create one" link to it under the "[number] articles in English, rien en français und nichts auf Deutsch." text in the Welcome to Illogicopedia box. --Fluffalizer 00:52, 2 March 2007 (EST)

The simplest way would be to go to its edit page, copy, and paste it into an article with the same name here. If it was deleted, an Uncyc admin can give you a copy. The header hack

It's a good idea but it's cutting off some of the page, at least in my browser anyway. It might be worth asking someone who knows about these things to take a look - it would be good if it could be brought in line with Wikipedia and Uncyclopedia's main page headers. SP put in a hack in the Monobook.css doing that prior to adding the stuff in the Main Page itself. It took a little while before the css code began to work, though - I could see the Main Page title previewing the page with the code on top removed at first. Not now anymore, though. Seems a certain wiper of frames put back his code for placing a floating image over the top of the page after I removed it, then removed his logo (first briefly replacing it with goatse. nice "surprise" checking the changes in the history), leaving the code blanking a little strip of the page. --The Divine Fluffalizer 13:55, 30 Yoon 2007 (UTC)

Basically, Illogicopedia accepts one liners and utterly nonsensical ramble whereas Uncyc doesn't. There's a more detailed explanation available through the FAQs. The only articles that get deleted here are pointless/meaningles one-letter articles, attack pages and anything Nerd42 doesn't like. :D

Main page code bit dodgy

Formatting Problem

OK, something funky is going on with the main page formatting. Today's featured article is squished up all thin against the edge, in the news and vandalpedia are ginormous, and DYK is gone entirely, except for the little "Add your own DYK" thing at the bottom. ...do y'all think the featured articles aren't prominent enough on this new main page? It actually took me a pretty long time to figure out where the heck the featured article section was. I kinda missed the entire forum about the main page change, but maybe above the featured articles and photos we should have some big text that says FEATURED MATERIAL or something like that. A title saying "FEATURE" would be good, but I think it'd be even better to resurrect the featured box. Maybe you could put it above the news and DYK, with "yesterday's feature" next to it. That way, the main page would be more organized, AND the featured page would seem more like it was...featured notably on the front page. Another idea would be to demote DYK and Vandalpedia to boxes that you only see when you hover over them, and put them where the feature is now. Front page issues

For some reason, the front page looks an absolute pile of donkey dong in Internet Explorer. Maybe we should do something about it, but then again maybe I should shut up. Recently mashed?

Somewhere up there, like 2 years ago, Some WHAT!? asked about the disappearance of the Recently Brewed box. Not to sound impatient, but there's no answer... only that it disappeared under mysterious, unexplained circumstances. Maybe it got into financial trouble and is spending the next 5 years dead for tax reasons? Perhaps the constant editing felt too much like abuse, so it entered the Content Box Relocation Program to get some sun and fresh air on a beach on Bora Bora? Or maybe it was completely ignored and unloved, and stepped in front of the combine?
