“It's like rickrolling, but you're trapped all day.”
“This article parodies Uncyclopedia's article on TV Tropes, which parodies TV Tropes itself, therefore this article is a parody of a parody!”
“I am 100% sure that Wikipedia is a better website than TV Tropes!”
“I am 101% sure that Uncyclopedia is a better website than either Wikipedia or TV Tropes!”
“I am over 9000% sure that Encyclopedia Dramatica is a better website than either Uncyclopedia, Wikipedia or TV Tropes!”
“No, no, no! Illogicopedia is the bestest website ever in the whole wide world!”
“Bananas are yummy, and juicy, and squishy!”
An addicting alternative to Wikipedia for those who think Wikipedia's too boring, Uncyclopedia's too wild(e), Encyclopedia Dramatica's too hateful, and this wiki's too illogical. TV Tropes uses a different style than either of the wikis I've just talked about, which a lot of people find cool. The overused word "trope" refers to any idea, concept or a thing that's found in Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Greenland, England, America, Spain, Mexico, Australia, Mars, Uranus, The Sun, Heaven, Hell, The Digital World, Video games, Anime, Manga, Bikini Bottom, Dimmsdale, Amity Park, Retroville, Springfield, Star Wars, Youtube, TV Tropes itself, Wikipedia, Illogicopedia, Facebook, 4chan (mostly b), TV, Books, anything/anywhere else that exists, and/or anything/anywhere else that doesn't exist. 'Coz of this, there are over 9000 "tropes" on TV Tropes, and each "trope" page is linked to other tropes. Because of this, users may spend over 9000 eons on that site, before watching Weegee on Youtube Poop again.
Behold the over 9000 examples!
- Leopold a.k.a. Angry German Kid, Slikk, or Der Echte Gangster, has made lots of videos, the most popular one being the one in which he plays Unreal Tournament, and breaks his keyboard, and shouts in German.
- Actually he was acting.
- To prove that he isn't insane, look at his other videos. He can Get Rap Past The Radar, play heavy metal, and he even has some beatboxing talent!
- In the keyboard smashing video, you can't see a lampshade hanging, but you do see some other furniture. This video has over 9000000 spoofs with fake subtitles, and remixes on Nico Nico Douga.
- Yum, yum. This is where pizza and pasta originate from.
- Although there are lots of Marios there, there's only one Italy. This, my friends, is the One Italy Limit
- Cleverly scrubverted in Axis Powers Hetalia, where there are two Italys!
- Home to Akihabara, a.k.a. Seizure paradise. Akihabara is known for its big, tall, futuristic buildings, fascinating technology, anime and manga stores and at night, there are billions of cool flashing colored lights from every floor of each builing, which gives people pleasant seizures!
- But beware of earthquakes, tsunamis, radiation or Godzilla!!
- On Illogicopedia, you make an Uninfectionate Parody of TV Tropes.
- But in Soviet Russia, TV Tropes makes an Uninfectionate Parody of YOU!!!
- Lasse Gjertsen obviously.
- Check out his beatboxing video.
- This has spoofed countless Infectionate Parodies.
- You should check out his other videos on his channel. THAT should give you an idea of what Norway's like!
- Norway likes fish very, very, very, very, very much. It's the Word of Cod!

- A person called Humon, suffering from Scandinavianitis, created a web comic "Scandinavia and the World". It's similar to Axis Powers Hetalia mentioned in the "Italy" section, but focuses on, erm... well, Scandinavia. It un-scrubverts the One Italy Limit trope, 'coz there's only one Italy in it.
- Readers of the comic try hard not to sing the song: We All Live in Scandinavia.
- Fact: There are more pigs than people there!
- The Danish, Norwegian and Swedish languages are almost identical to each other. Speakers can understand each other more easily than an Illogicopedian can understand Illogicopedia.
- People, including Danes themselves, always ignore and forget about the Faroe Islands, but it's home to a gabazillion tropes, even though its just made up of a few islands!
- For this reason, the Faroe Islands have a longer article on Illogicopedia than most other countries, even though TV Tropes (like everyone) hardly ever thinks about them.
- SUOMI! SUOMI! Champions at hockey, sauna, comedy, and a lot of other things.
- Conan O'Brien is very, very, very famous in Finland, because he looks like their president. Therefore, Conan visited Finland, and found his trip cool! (literally!)
- Finland obeys the Rule of Literally Cool.
- Conan O'Brien is very, very, very famous in Finland, because he looks like their president. Therefore, Conan visited Finland, and found his trip cool! (literally!)
- Finland is also famous for Nokia, Angry Birds and pwning Sweden!
- Here comes The Crowning Moment Of Pwnsome!
- Not to be confused with the British supermarket of the same name.
- This troper, oops, Illogicopedian, loled at that the fact that a country is a Supermarket Namer!
- Greenland is badly named. Nothing in Greenland is green, nothing!
- Greenland is full of uninhabitable snow and ice.
- Oh, 'ello the'e!
- There are lots of tropes in England, including London, tea, biscuits, cows, wheat and roads, Barry Scott being a famous example with his Cillit Bang Techno Remix.
- But lots of tropes in England also apply to America (see below) because they share a common language.
- Tropes exist everywhere in America!!! EVERYWHERE!!!
- There are so many tropes in America that I can't be bothered to list all of them.
- Hola amigo! Spain is where you eat nachos and tortilla, do lucha wrestling, wear a sombrero, shake mariachi, and speak Espanol of course.
- Ooops. That's Mexico you're thinking about. Spain isn't like that at all (save for the Espanol).
- Hola amigo! Mexico is where you eat nachos and tortilla, do lucha wrestling, wear a sombrero, shake mariachi, and speak Espanol of course.
- G'day mate!
- This is superbly blubverted by some Aussies, but not all of them.
- In Aussieland, you can see kangaroos, koalas, platypuses, Aussies and beaches.
- Here comes The Crowining Moment Of Koala!
- The surface of the Sun is too hot to play football on.
- Early video games like Mario are simple 2D games that cost nothing!
- However, newer ones like COD are complex 3d games, and are really hard to make, so they cost a lot!
- Anime comes in many types, not just one. And there are lots of different art types as well.
- For example, one anime type is called Moe, or Puni Plush, in which most of the characters look like cute little babies. This is played straight by Lucky Star.
- Another anime is called Pokémon. Pokémon are creatures that can evolve, proving that evolution does indeed happen.
- Well, at least to Pokémon.
- Manga is similar to anime mentioned above, but the pictures are still, not moving. (but at least there are many pictures)
- For those of you who don't know, it's where Spongebob and his friends live.
- Bikini Bottom is like no other city. It's a very special city, because it's located 100% under the sea.
- In Bikini Bottom, there are a diverse range of living creatures including sponges, starfish, squids, crabs, fish, whales, sharks, plankton, oysters, and much more...
- I'm not talking about ordinary sponges, starfish, squids, crabs, fish etc. The citizens of Bikini Bottom have human-like intelligence, can talk, walk on two legs, use tools, make Krabby Patties, and have extraordinary comedy talent (specially Spongebob, Bikini Bottom's most famous resident whom we all admire).
- Because of the above, Bikini Bottom is one of the King of Tropes.
- And because of all the above writing in the "Bikini Bottom" section, Spongebob will always be one of our favourite shows.
- Dimmsdale could refer to the town in which Timmy Turner from Fairly Odd Parents lives, but it could also refer to the Universe in which he lives (specially in crossovers).
- The most notable thing about the Fairly Odd Parents is.......
- ........FAIRY GOD PARENTS!!!
- This is where there are a lot of tropes, and ghosts!
- But don't worry, 'coz Danny Phantom will fight them all! (the ghosts, not the tropes!)
- Retroville (where Jimmy Neutron lives) is a 3D animated world, as opposed to most others which are 2D, which makes it special.
- Springfield is where The Simpsons is set.
- Because "The Simpsons" has lots of episodes, it also has shedloads of tropes. Click here for more info.
- Angry German Kid, as mentioned in the "Germany" section wasn't on Youtube when he was smashing his computer; he was playing a game called Unreal Tournament.
- But he soon got really famous on Youtube, and on Nico Nico Douga.
- Numa Numa is a video of some
fat"not-so-fat" North American guy dancing and lip-synching to some Eastern European song. ThistroperIllogicopedian thinks it was Romanian.- No, no, no. It was Moldovan, but the language was Romanian.
- Numa Numa has a second version called "New Numa" and a third version called "Numa Three".
- THIS! IS! SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- That's Mama Luigi To You Mario!
- wheeze!
- Lots of funny Youtube Poops are funny bits from cartoon shows e.g. Spongebob(see "Bikini Bottom" section above).
- Cillit Bang! (see "England" section above)
- Tunak Tunak Tun Tunak Tunak Tun Tunak Tunak Tun Da Da Da!!
Rustin' BeaverJustin Bieber- And many, many, many, many, many more.........
- Wikipedia[citation needed] more-or-less obeys[citation needed] the Rule of Unfunny[citation needed]...
- ...but Your Kilometreage May Vary[citation needed]!
- Also, the Rule of Unfunny is stubverted by certain articles.
- Illogicopedia may not be called Tropepedia, but it sure has a lot of cool tropes, most of which are found on this very article, which is about tropes!
- Speedobear is a speedophile who always runs at very high speeds...
- ... after childr, I mean, chilled drinks!
- Lolcats!
- This Is Sparta
- Rickrolling
- Chocolate Rain
- So I herd u liek mudkipz
- /b/tards
- Anime
- Manga
- And many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, more................
- TV Tropes first thought tropes existed on TV, and only on TV.
- But they quickly realised that tropes are everywhere!
- A funny clip from a cartoon on TV could be uploaded on Youtube, carrying its tropes with it. Now, the tropes made their way off of the TV and onto the net.
- But they quickly realised that tropes are everywhere!
- Onomatopoeia
- Rhyming
- Assonance
- Similes
- Metaphors
- Oxymorons
- Blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
- Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
- Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
- Remember: Tropes are everywhere, all around us. There are tropes on every subject and every topic.
- I like pie.
